This serves as a warning by the way. If you haven't watched the anime described in the blog, please turn away, because it could contain spoilers. I've done all I can in minimizing the spoilers here, but they're summaries! Still... There still are! You've been warned!
So... The first thing I want to point out is that I like story content so much since I'm practically a writer. I'm not the full-employed and full-dreamer writer, but I'm more of a fan fiction writer at best. Why? It's because there are stories that still need to be finished, and I enjoy writing unfinished stories at best!
The first Strike Witches movie that included the 501st joint fighter wing could have been continued! But where was it? NOWHERE!
BUT, that's enough about that. What I'm really going to talk about is NOT Strike Witches the movie... though I'm still trying to write a story after the movie's timeline happened...
What I want to talk about, is "Aria The Scarlet Ammo, Double A."

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA... Let's get cracking!
I want to voice out my opinion on the plot itself, as well as the characters. It starts with a character that's first centralized in the anime. Then it's followed by the protagonist. They're pretty much different, since the view of the audience is focused on the protagonist more. This challenges the audience into thinking of the situation of the centralized character, and I like that best on anime and on any story involving mystery and action. One good example from that subject is the plot put on "Chaos;Child." But I'll leave it to you guys to decide if it's close to that! ;)
The other thing I want to voice out is... why the anime series was able to get a spin-off and NOT a sequel. There should be at least a way to squeeze the stories into a series, right? 12 episodes on the original A.S.A. anime and as well as the A.S.A. AA too. Isn't that a waste of time especially when it comes to animating separately? I mean, what does that bring? Separate gaps! Well, COME ON!!! I don't settle for big gaps in the anime series!!
Maybe I shouldn't be writing this. I'm going to rant about how the animators of the greatest anime are only contractors and not full-
Let's continue!
I do like the how the plot went from being mysterious on the part of the protagonist, to the point she has to accept what or who she is, and know she's not alone. Because her type of personality needs motivation and dependence towards friends. That's how to grow, at least! ;) The centralized character is more into "only-necessary coordination" with others and solo-fighting. The centralized character and main protagonist are VERY different in almost all ways, but the thing about them, is that they both learn from that they know and what they're yet to face. That's why the protagonist needed advice and training from the centralized character. Now... I like that kind of relationship.
Where the hell is the proper prequel or sequel?
Unfortunately, from the original Aria the Scarlet Ammo, there isn't a sequel. The AA variant is only a spin-off and definitely a sign that there will never be a sequel at all, which is huge waste of my time in writing this blog. Now... if you'll excuse me, I have to save Chaos;Child and Strike Witches from being forgotten. Signing out!
